２０１５年頃に日本でも展開していたイーグルモス社の隔週刊ミリタリーウォッチ・コレクション、
その特別版の一つだ。（この号は日本未発売）

公式サイトの紹介文によると

Military Watch Collection Special Edition American Astronaut's Watch 1990s.

Space can be an extremely hostile environment, so U.S. Astronauts need a robust watch with excellent time-keeping qualities. The timepiece that accompanies this special issue about U.S. space flight features a chronograph, date window and tachymetre for precision timekeeping and is presented in a metal tin.

American Astronauts were given watches that were available on the open market. They needed to have accurate timing systems for extravehicular activity, and be easily read in strong or poor light, as well as standing up to the rigours of space travel.

かなり雑に日本語訳すると、
アメリカの宇宙飛行士のために、宇宙空間で使えるような強くて正確な、市販品のクロノグラフが必要だった。


要するに、アメリカの宇宙飛行士の公式装備品腕時計を再現したものだ。
要するにオメガ・スピードマスター・プロフェッショナルに他ならない。
このミリタリーウォッチ・コレクションシリーズでは、要するに○○な腕時計が各種ラインナップされていた。

しかし、日本での展開はわずか２０号で終わった。

ちなみに、このスピードマスター風の腕時計は、スピードマスター・プロフェッショナルと違い、日付表示が可能である！

個人的には、ベルトが面ファスナー（マジックテープあるいはベルクロ）だったら完璧だなと思うし、海外から取り寄せていたかもしれない。

おわりに

あえてレプリカ、あえて模型などもアリだなと思う。
